Weekly Museum Programs

Children have a blast with our Artistic Director

Create with Kelly Join Kelly Frimel, The Trailhead’s Creative Director and resident artist, from 10-12 every Wednesday at the Museum for a guided, hands-on art adventure! Create with Kelly is a free program included with your day pass or membership to the Trailhead Museum.

Letter of the Week Preschoolers, join the Trailhead on Thursdays as we build our “Letter of the Week” tree. With an emphasis on letter and sound recognition, and the integration of relevant literature, fun and games, children will go out on a limb to learn pre-literacy skills in a hands-on and playful way.

Science on Sundays Join resident scientist and Creative Director, Kelly Frimel, for an adventure in hands-on discovery and experimentation. With the scientific method as a guide, Kelly guides scientists in weekly experiments that test a variety of scientific and mathematical concepts. Don’t worry … Goggles and lab coats are included!
