Getting Here


View Larger Map		 The Trailhead Children’s Museum is located in the Outpost Building at the base of Mt. Crested Butte Resort next to the Adventure Park. You can take any of the free buses from town to the mountain or park at the ski area where there are a number of free and pay lots within walking distance on Treasury Lane/Emmons Loop.

  • From the bus corral proceed through the tunnel, continue on the path to the left of the mini golf. Look for the large flower cutouts and our sign!
  • If you are parking, drive up Gothic Road, take a right on Treasury Lane and follow around to parking lot on your right. Walk up the sidewalk toward the ski area and you will see The Museum to the left of the climbing wall.
