Studio Art is for young artists looking to sharpen their skills, as well as learn new art forms and techniques. This camp is recommended as a two day course, during which students will complete one large, in-depth project. Each week camp will explore a different art genre or theme.

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays

Let’s take Art, Outside the Box! In the outdoor-based art camp, students will find inspiration, examples, and even materials for their art projects! This camp will stretch the scope of art far outside of the classroom.

This program is perfect for those young artists that have a passion for both the outdoors and for creating unique and beautiful art. If you loved Explore, Create, Play, try Art Outside the Box!

  • Rising 1st graders to rising 3rd graders

    Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays

Explore, Create, Play is a camp for those looking for art and adventure! During this camp, students will spend the majority of the day outdoors, whether completing an experiment at the park, exploring the wild beauty of nearby trails, or creating art from outdoor materials.

  • Rising 3rd graders to rising 5th graders

    Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays

Valley Voyagers is a camp for those with an elevated sense of adventure and a healthy curiosity for the world around them. During this camp, voyagers will spend their days primarily outdoors, diving deeper into the social, cultural, physical aspects of Crested Butte. We will get hands on with artifacts from Crested Butte’s history, create plein air art masterpieces, and survey (and play) in rivers that run through the Valley. Everyday is a new day to explore and learn! This program is perfect for older elementary children who have enjoyed Explore, Create, Play in previous summers!

*campers must have completed Kindergarten by the beginning of Summer Camp 2024 to attend the full day programs
