Join the Trailhead for our 2nd Annual Worldwide Day of Play!

The Worldwide Day of Play is a day dedicated to experiencing joyful learning through play, and focuses on getting children and their families active. Museums, schools, and other family focused groups across the GLOBE are joining in a giant celebration of PLAY!

The Trailhead will be featuring a special menu of play on September 27th, and are all welcome to join!

All Day of Play activities will be included in regular Museum Admission.

The Trailhead’s 2025 Worldwide Day of Play event is made possible by generous sponsorship support from CORE of Crested Butte!

Day of Play Schedule:

Saturday, September 27th

10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Jessica Noll Yoga & Play with the in the MUSEUM

11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Old Miner Log Cabin Creations - build a miner’s cabin of old Crested Butte out of logs (pretzels) and decorate with trinkets (candy) of yore! CLASSROOM

12 p.m. Lunch break - stop by for a popsicle treat! Museum is open for PLAY!

1 p.m. - 2 p.m. Slime Time Session in the CLASSROOM

2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Dance Party and Lip Sync Battle Sing Alongs on the DECK

3 p.m. - 4 p.m. Bike and helmet decorating party on the DECK

4 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. Marshal led TOWNIE TAKEOVER!

Sunday, September 28th

4 p.m. Art Project at the Majestic Theater with the Youth Film Festival

(separate ticket required, under 18 free)
